Connector Rx, Inc. was founded in 2008 with the primary goal of providing families and professionals with a research based tool that could positively shape relationship development of children within and outside of their family system. The Connector Rx staff subscribe to the principal that quality of life for all individuals is best measured by their ability to form loving, meaningful relationships in and outside the home. The Connector Rx was born from countless hours of experience working with individuals with social and communication disorders and their families. In addition, collaboration with professionals taking a whole family approach to treatment impacted the continued evolution of the Connector Rx. Our own intuition, the valuable insights from professionals, parents, children, and the supportive data collected thus far have provided the impetus for bringing this unique device to families and professionals everywhere. Together Eric Hamblen, Steve Ryan and Katherine A. Calouri, Ph.D., have over 65 years of experience working with individuals with social learning and communication disorders. These three professionals are also the inventors and operators of the Family Immersion Model at PACE Place in Beaverton, OR.
